Allen Barlow Live at High Dive

Allen Barlow is one of Birmingham’s most versatile guitarists. He studied with jazz-fusion great David Fiuczynski, teaches electric and acoustic guitar at Samford University, and has played with The Black Jacket Symphony, Oteil Burbridge’s Psychocats (Burbridge played bass in the Allman Brothers and now plays with Dead & Company), and Mart Avant’s Night Flight Big Band. He moves easily between jazz, rock, blues, and classical, and High Dive’s engineered acoustics carry every nuance of his playing to every seat in a room designed as carefully as it sounds. Catch his set before or after Maggie Rose in the Music Park next door.
